Iran unveils national jersey for 2014 World Cup

TEHRAN – the Iran Football Federation unveiled the new jersey of the national football team for the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

At the presentation ceremony, which was held on Saturday night at the Olympic Hotel in Tehran, the jersey, which bears the image of an Asiatic cheetah, was unveiled.

In a two-day visit to Tehran in early November, FIFA President Sepp Blatter said that he would support the Iranian team’s plan to prevent the extinction of the Asian cheetah.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in Brazil from June 12 to July 13.

A total of 32 national Soccer Jerseys 2014 teams are divided into eight groups of four teams.


Asian heavyweight Iran has been drawn in Group F of the 2014 World Cup along with powerhouse Argentina, Nigeria, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Iran will face Nigeria on June 16 in Curitiba’s Arena da Baixada.

Intel vp of sponsorship David Haroldsen says the placement "authentically tells the story of who we are rather than just being another brand that is visible with all the other logos that exist. We believed we would have more value with the symbolic placement with occasional pop-up moments within the game."

Fair enough. Cool concept. Still, I wonder … doesn't this send a tacit message that big corporate bucks are all that's "inside" these players, driving them like robots of commerce? Aren't champions supposed to be motivated by something more, like their fierce love of the game and burning desire to win? Doesn't that competitive heart, beating deep inside, truly make a great team tick?

And when Santa Claus comes to my house next week, will he bring the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy along for the ride?

Barcelona 2014 New Jerseys To Share

Barcelona launched their new kit for the season 2013/2014 still in the end of last season. Shirts for the upcoming season of the Spanish Champion will sponsor the first private company in the history of the club. Until today, the club Jersey was only printed with the names of nonprofit institutions (UNICEF and Qatar Foundation). Now, the new kits will have the sponsor of the airline company Qatar Airways.

The other change was the design of the away shirt. Now, the away jersey will have vertical stripes in yellow and red, as in the Catalonia flag. In a photo published on its official website, Barcelona exhibited Thiago Alcantara, Xavi and Piqué using the home shirt, while Messi, Iniesta and Puyol posed with away soccer jerseys with yellow and red colours.

New France World Cup 2014 Soccer Jerseys


This is the new France kit 14/15, France’s new strip for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The new French home kit has been made by Nike and was officially unveiled on 19 November, 2013 by Les Bleus, shortly after their stunning 3-0 second leg win over Ukraine that saw them qualify for the World Cup.
The likes of Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud and Juventus’ Paul Pogba will be wearing this new jersey in the 2014 international season.
The shirt’s fabric is inspired by the French town of Nimes, which gave the world denim ( de Nimes). In the words of Nike ” the paradox between raw denim and elegant silk mirrored Nike designers’ desire to create a beautiful design aesthetic for the French home shirt”
